DoDea Grants support our After-School Elementary Programs.  Each of our three elementary schools has an after-school enrichment component from 3:30-5:30, Monday thru Thursday for 25 weeks during the school year.  Approximately 120 students(combined) attend during the school year.  There is also a 3 weeks summer component of approximately 150 students.  All programs include a nutritional snack and busing.  The summer programs also include free lunch, fitness, and swimming.  Enrichment programs are run by Carthage Staff as well as partnerships with local agencies such as Cornell Cooperative Extention.

We have an extensive after-school program at the Middle School serving over 150 students Monday thru Thursday 3-5:15 and 3 weeks in the summer.  These programs are funded with a combination of our 21st Century Community Learning Grant, Army Youth Program in Your Neighborhood (AYPYN) Funds, and DoDEA Grants.  Partners in our middle school program include Cornell Cooperative Extension, the YMCA, Clarkson University, and SUNY Canton.
