Five Carthage Seniors Earn Seal of Biliteracy

This is the image for the news article titled Five Carthage Seniors Earn Seal of BiliteracyThe Carthage Central School District Board of Education recognized five Carthage High School seniors who received their Seal of Biliteracy.

The seal, which is offered by Jefferson-Lewis BOCES State Seal of Biliteracy Consortium, recognizes high school graduates who have attained, and can demonstrate, a high level of proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing in one or more languages, in addition to English.

These students received a medal and a sash which can be worn during their high school graduation, in addition the Seal of Biliteracy on their graduation diplomas.
